Recruitment

How we find the fit.

Recruitment done right isn’t about filling seats fast – it’s about matching the right driver to the right fleet, so both stay. Here’s our whole process, no secrets.

Recruitment

Most driver turnover is a matching problem.

The trucking industry averages around 90% annual driver turnover. Not because drivers don’t want to work – because they were sold a job that didn’t match reality: pay that shrinks after orientation, home time that never comes, equipment held together with tape.

Our whole recruitment model exists to fix that one problem. We verify what the carrier offers, we verify what the driver needs, and we only introduce the two when both sides check out. That’s why our drivers stay.

“Top pay, ask us how!”

→ We read the actual pay sheet first.

“Home every weekend, promise.”

→ We check the policy as practiced, not printed.

“Brand new equipment.”

→ We verify truck age and maintenance records.

SCREENING

We screen both sides. That's the difference.

Every agency screens drivers. Almost nobody screens carriers. We do both – because a placement only lasts when both sides told the truth.

Carriers that hide pay structures, run old equipment, or break home-time promises don’t stay in our network. Drivers get that vetting for free.

The difference

Fleet Fit vs. the usual way

Job boards & typical agencies
FLEETFIT
THE FLEET FIT WAY
DAY 1

We confirm orientation went as promised – truck, pay setup, first dispatch.

Week 1

First check-in: miles, pay, dispatch treatment. Small problems get fixed before they grow.

Month 1

Full review with driver and carrier. If the fit isn’t right, we re-match – free.

After placement
The job isn't done when you're hired.

Most agencies disappear after the commission clears. We schedule check-ins at week one and month one – with both the driver and the carrier. If pay doesn’t match the sheet, if home time slips, if the truck isn’t what was promised, we step in and fix it or find a better fit. Retention isn’t luck; it’s follow-up.

Recruiting the Fleet Fit way

Fit before speed

We check the carrier’s pay sheets, equipment, and home-time policy against what you asked for – before your name is ever mentioned.

Real numbers up front

Every opportunity comes with actual pay ranges. If a carrier won’t share numbers, they don’t work with us.

One recruiter, start to finish

You get one person who knows your file — not a call center. They stay with you through orientation and after.

We follow up after placement

Check-ins at week one and month one. If something’s off, we fix it — that’s how we keep 87% of drivers in the seat past a year.

No spam, ever

Your number goes to zero carriers until you approve them. One application doesn’t mean fifty cold calls — it means one recruiter you chose.

Free for drivers, honest for carriers

Drivers never pay a cent. Carriers pay only for placements that stick — so our incentive is the same as yours: a match that lasts.

I'm a driver

Get matched with a carrier that fits your pay, lanes, and home time.

I'm a carrier

Fill seats with pre-screened drivers who actually want your lanes.
